    Cheng has to be gone due to the lack of MLB time and options. There is nothing about him that is worth hanging onto. Not sure what the interest level is in Justin Wilson, Danny Coulumbe and Jalen Beeks.

    The problem with Hamilton as a UTIL is that he's only good at 2b. They tried him in the OF and it wasn't good. He never looks great at SS when he's over there.

    Yeah, that was before they swapped two pitchers for two IFers on the 40 man. Probably need to add some relievers somehow.

    I think after the meeting JH said that he would eat money in a trade after the meeting, that's how bad it went. IMO, a large part of moving on from Devers can still be about not being comfortable with that contract on the books. They probably were going to move on from him at some point, that discussion just moved up the timetable.

    Increase the bb rate. Pop a few more dingers over the Monster. If he keeps the same defense and running metrics, he'll do just fine.

    Money has always been an issue since 2019. We can't ignore those constraints. They aren't a top 5 spender any longer.
