  6. To me, what will one more mediocre to poor start prove? Better to make a decision too early than too late.
  7. Or hipsters with beards that live at craft breweries.
  8. Espinoza is broken too. At least Pom gave us one good run in 2017. Espinoza may never get that.

  10. That crack medical team doesn't need to tell you anything.
  11. No mention of Beeks?
  12. Velazquez seems to be trending downward. Something must be up with him. The Sox have whispered about health issues.
  13. I like this one.
  14. The biggest trend right now is the struggling Pomeranz. Putting him in there every 5th day is like waving the white flag IMO. I agree that JBJ is looking like a completely different player. It's funny how such a simple mechanical adjustment can really make all the difference. I'm not sure I really trust that Nunez is healthy enough to compete all year. He just looks off to me. Holt has been fantastic this year. No complaints from me. I thought he looked chubby in the offseason, but now he's just looking like a thicc snack. I too am a little frustrated with Devers. He still is young enough to keep the training wheels on though. If Pedroia was healthy, I think we'd see Devers with a few more days off as Nunez/Holt could fill in over there.

  16. I want my best hitter to have the most chances to be at bat. Why bury Mookie into the 3 hole if you can get an extra at bat hitting first? Can't win the game from the on deck circle.
  17. I hope to god he's doing well in AAA, it's only his third year there.
  18. That's the point you're getting out of all of this??? Not that we have listed multiple sources over and over that state a position you don't agree with. But I'm sure you are VERY familiar with MLB contracts and are an expert in what it says in their bargaining agreement. I look forward to your continued postings where you don't listen to anyone else and believe that you have some secret knowledge that hasn't been presented by any reputable sources. In lieu of listing all of my credentials, I'm just going to tell you to find something else to stir up because you're not doing a very good job here.
  19. @nickcafardo Hanley Ramirez is a free agent at 1 p.m. Soon this long national nightmare will be over.
  20. https://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=11426&position=P#pitchvalues Pom's curve used to be his strength, but it completely blows this year.
  21. Should be next turn in the rotation? Pomeranz has only had an ERA under 6.75 in two of his starts. His FIP is 1.50 lower than his ERA, so he should "regress" a little, but he still just sucks right now. If they can't get Pom on the DL, I'd put him in the pen, DFA Johnson and call up Beeks to start. Wright can continue to be long reliever (I just don't like Wright every fifth day because you have to worry about rain and other knuckleball nonsense, which could be better monitored in a long relief role).
  22. Why can't a leadoff hitter have power?
  23. Holt has been good enough.
  24. As long as they are honest to the players, I don’t care what the fans hear.
