The previews I've seen are terrible and it's ridiculous that they allowed Fallon on the field after winning in 04. It's also just an Americanized version of a British movie that is supposed to be much better.
Sports movies are typically dumb (especially baseball ones).
Baseball movies I'd rather watch:
Air Bud: Seventh Inning Fetch
Ed
Rookie of the Year
The Sandlot (best baseball movie of all time)
Major League
Brewster's Millions (it counts)
Bad News Bears
Mr 3000 (underrated)
Bad News Bears Breaking Training
A League of Their Own
The Pride of the Yankees
Field of Dreams, Bull Durham and the Natural can suck it.
Porcello has also pitched 142 more innings than Sabathia since coming to the Sox and crushes him in WAR.
Over the past three years, Price has a higher WAR than Sabathia even though he missed over half of 2017 with injuries and was limited last year.
There are so many guys I forgot played for the Yankees:
Derek Lowe
Spike Owen
Meintkewhateveriz
Darren Bragg
Butch Hobson
George Scott
Greg Harris
Bob Ojeda
Lee Smith
Jeff Reardon
Tony Fossas
Darnell Mcdonald
I'm glad you agree that I won this heated sports debate. Another 1st round TKO for the peak of perfection, the zenith of TalkSox, the preeminent poster, aka me.
I think that's because it's pretty clear who will win the ALW and ALC.
We're not lining up the duck boats. We're talking about the division itself you silly goose.
I just spent 2 minutes on the other site and now need a stiff drink. I don't see how that could be enjoyable for anyone.
I think we all get along here pretty well. I just don't see what the big deal is.
I just don't get it anymore. The vast majority of older posters on here don't care about BDC. It seems to be it's just a few former BDC posters who keep posting about how it's not the same or whatever. It's been 3 years. If you still don't like how this board is moderated, I don't know what else to say.
