  1. And still posting. I don't want to make a fuss about it, but...
  2. Pass on So Cal housing costs and traffic. I loved living there though.
  3. #metoo At least they are getting this West Coast swing out of the way now.
  4. 10:07pm. I'm too old for this s***.
  5. He signed a below market deal? What else could you ask for?
  6. C'mon man... If you keep up this line of thinking you're going to have to find a new team.
  7. This cinches it. Mookie will be signed long term.
  8. @craigcalcaterra "Bah! Gawd! That's . . . that's Jacoby Ellsbury's music!!!"
  9. I like to play fast and loose with the rules.
  10. @mlbtraderumors Yankees Place Giancarlo Stanton On Injured List
  11. I don't think he's trying to make that argument. He's just still got sand in his underpants over the Jeter Sucks ARod Swallows shirts.
  12. It took the Sox selling the team to Henry for this team to really become competitive year in and year out. Ownership was god awful before then.
  13. He's basically a 2002 Red Sox fan. Sad!
  14. And Sox fans have to hear over and over again about championships that happened before color tv was invented. Who cares?
  15. I didn't buy into the Evil Empire nonsense back then, so I don't think it impacts my viewpoint as a fan. Win by any means necessary.
  16. Who gives a s*** how they were viewed? They had a pretty great run in the 90's - 00's. What fan base would say no to that? I'll be the evil empire every day if it means that many titles. s***, most other fans hate Boston anyway.
  17. I have no idea about the CBA stuff but I have definitely wondered the same exact thing. Interesting that the new contract will be negotiated in 2020, which just so happened to coincide with the "cliff."
  18. His dipshittedness will really pay dividends in the playoffs, but the regular season will breeze by for the Yanks. I'm not really sure what they saw in Boone in the first place. He never impressed me in the booth. He didn't seem like one of those "future coaches" in his playing days. Did Cash pick him or someone else?
  19. I didn't say "everyone." I said "everyone they want." I think that means they can sign all of the core (the B's, Sale, Devers) if they want to and will find savings elsewhere (Porcello, Moreland, Nunez, etc.) by replacing them with cheaper options (Chavis, Dalbec, Hernandez, Lin, FA's, etc.). Maybe Porcello becomes a FA this offseason and a market doesn't really develop (hesitant about a 31 year old with 2,000 innings on his arm) and he comes back cheaply?
