  1. @alexspeier Update on this: There is no automatic CBT reset if there’s no 2020 season. If there is no 2020 season and Sox spend > $210M in 2021, they’d be taxed as a team surpassing the CBT threshold for a third straight season.
  2. BOS at TBR, two years ago today. Full game.
  3. The season will have a lot of double headers. There's a chance that rosters are increased to 28 players. I don't think the Rule V status should roll over since service time is now being prorated.
  4. And sometimes a lot of money can affect what those people believe.
  5. To me, it’s not worth the risk to go anywhere near a hospital right now. Considering that Sale just had pneumonia a few weeks ago, he should be extra careful with being out in public. Hospitals and nursing homes are just prime for outbreaks.
  6. Well, it’s clear that we disagree on what “elective” surgery means. It’s why people have been talking in circles for the past 100 posts of so.
  7. Notin is 100% right on this IMO. TJS is definitely elective surgery. He could retire and live a perfectly normal life without the surgery.
  8. I'll allow it.
  9. Story on Sox new hitting coach. Growing up in Hampden, Peter Fatse spent many afternoons playing in his backyard on a replica wiffle ball field modeled after Fenway Park. https://www.masslive.com/redsox/2020/03/boston-red-soxs-new-assistant-hitting-coach-hampden-native-peter-fatse-excited-for-fenway-park-homecoming-it-still-gives-me-goosebumps.html
  10. Sorry to hear this.
  11. The only other eagle scout I know is my dad. I never did the scout thing.
  12. I don’t know about that eagle scout business.
  13. Last year today this game happened. https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/SEA/SEA201903290.shtml
  14. If you’re good at it, take the CPA exam. It’ll open a lot of doors when it’s on your resume. Being an accountant and being a CFO are two completely different skill sets IMO.
  15. It won’t be the last either. The motto of public is churn and burn. It’s good for the experience though.
  16. I did both for a few years. Then was just audit. I went private after 8 busy seasons.
  17. Night of the Living Debt
  18. Sounds too tax heavy for me. I’m out.
  19. I could make a mean AP folder with duct tape and a knife.
  20. Stop. This can only be posted in an adults only forum..,
  21. There’s a Ben Affleck movie called The Accountant.
  22. The sensuality involved would make it automatically NC27. Studios would lose money.
  23. Public is not boring for sure.
