  2. @ChrisCotillo Cora downplayed the Chris Sale reliever theory on @OMFonWEEI. “He’s a guy you put out there every five days.”
  3. https://www.mlb.com/redsox/ballpark/concessions Veggie Burger and Dog Visitor's Clubhouse Area
  4. @SPChrisHatfield Chavis was worse than Dalbec while up - even if line looks ok, chase rate was brutal. He hasn't fixed anything. (he went deep as I typed this of course) Santana is a bench guy at this point. I'm not sure I'm in a rush to just jettison him. He's on shaky ground tho, to be sure. Santana may be the next guy DFA'd. I bet Franchy comes back after the ASB if he continues to hit.
  5. Trade simulator gives Chavis virtually the same value as Aguilar.
  6. Why not try grabbing a guy like Jesus Aguilar? He's on a one year deal for a team that is going nowhere. I don't think he'd cost much prospect capital either.
  7. Casas would have many more AB's if 2020 had an MiLB season. I think they will move him along at a normal pace and pretend he played at A+ last year.
  8. Casas is the opening day 1b next season.
  9. Back in ye olden times, I'd always hit up Burrito Max in Kenmore Square before a game and/or show on Landsdowne. RIP
  10. Really depends on the ballpark. I know OAK had veggie dogs and LA/SF had veggie burgers when I went to those parks. For me, I just get nachos, pretzels and whatever garbage beer is available (which is off your diet anyway).
  11. Hard to be upset with the results of the Beni trade. If they were going to trade him, not sure they could have received a better package. Sure, Beni will have more WAR this year, but Sox have several guys locked up for years and years. If just one of them turns out to be a consistent 2 WAR player, it's a win.
  12. He just needs consistent AB's and to regain confidence. Maybe he never finds success at MLB level, but I think he needs to be given a month or two in AAA before he comes back.
  13. Yes, last year I couldn't stop calling him Brian Dalbec.
  14. Seems like neither is a great option for starting 1b for a playoff contender?
  15. With Duran, there are big questions as he has completely revamped his swing since 2019. Now that he's added a lot of power and higher k rate, he needs more in game action to determine if he's really ready. Also, his defense is a big work in progress.
  16. Recently, per your definition, Chavis has been absolutely horrible in AAA. Why would you bring him up to replace a struggling Dalbec or Santana?
  17. Should how horribly he's played in AAA not count?
  18. I just don't understand how you used different sample sizes to mean "recently" (54 PA vs 27 PA). Seems haphazard to me.
  19. Dalbec has a .610 overall. Not sure what "recently" even means here. I thought Santana was hitting well enough for you???
  20. .636 OPS in 2020. We need him!!!
  21. Sorry, his OPS is 469 in AAA. Yes, bring that guy up! He's deserved it!
  22. I say, fill Worcester with guys that can mash. Let them win the AAA title and fill that stadium in its inaugural year.
