    Chavis can't field for s***. He's a mediocre 1B at best. He's a butcher at 2B and doesn't replace Arroyo. Arroyo is just a damn good baseball player who can handle the bat and can go the other way to get a run in.

    No, Arroyo is much better than Chavis. It's not really even close when you factor in D.

    Duran hits 440' bomb yesterday That's 4 dingers in 5 games. Casas being very mean to a baseball yesterday too Casas hit that off a lefty. Also, lost cause Cam Cannon has a 984 OPS.

    I guess, but Duran's defense is really behind right now. They'd probably have Renfroe/Cordero in RF and Verdugo in CF.

    It hurt in 2011 because expectations were high. It would hurt less this year. It's the difference between the Sox losing to the Yanks in 99 and the Sox losing to the Yanks in 03.

    They have moved Santana all over the diamond. I think he's played 1b, 2b, 3b and LF.

    Right now he's a slap hitter with no power and only "above average" speed. That would definitely not play in MLB.

    I think Cordero could hit 400 in AAA.

    I think he's still about 1.5 - 2 years away though. He's 21 with 6 games above high A.

    I'm still at 86. If they end up with 88 and miss the WC, it'll be a successful season IMO.

    Wilson is ready to play. I just don't think he's that good.

    If the Sox go .500 the rest of the way, they'll end up with 84 wins which is about where we thought they'd be.

    Rosario has a higher ceiling so I wouldn't want to rush him.
