  1. Andriese is on the IL. Workman is next on the chopping block.
  2. Berrios will be too costly IMO.
  3. His career stats are worse out of the pen.
  4. I don't think we need any of those guys. Fix it before the deadline.
  5. Couldn't happen to a nicer org.
  6. Why does anyone even want him in the pen?
  7. I don't see anyone wanting to pay Perez or Richards at this point. Any team that is out of contention is just going to piecemeal a rotation together. They have no incentive to add Richards or Perez.
  8. Is that what Nolan Ryan did?
  9. @redsoxstats Red Sox 3rd round pick Tyler McDonough (NC State, $829K) is making his pro debut in Florida at noon, he's batting 2nd and playing second base.
  10. Today's probables: AAA - Worcester: Stephen Gonsalves 4:35 pm AAA - Worcester: Connor Seabold (#5) Game 2 AA - Portland: Victor Santos 6:00 pm A+ - Greenville: Chris Murphy (#16) 7:00 pm A - Salem: Jeremy Wu-Yellend (#36) 7:00 pm Wu-Yelland was a 2020 pick, Murphy a 2019 pick. Victor Santos was the PTBNL for CJ Chatham (maybe his first Sox start?). It'll be interesting to see if Seabold can have a solid outing as the MLB squad could use another starter. Gonsalves was seen as a guy who could have had an impact on the MLB pen this year because his stuff ticked up, but he hasn't shown much.
  11. She's the MVP, I'm the also ran.
  12. I hope he puts up monster numbers for the Yankees. The Yankees fall short of the postseason this year and next. They give him a massive contract and the team doesn't get a ring for another 20 years.
  13. He's been so good for so long. I guess you could get him to age 40? Sometimes these guys just fall of a cliff though.
  14. When he first came up, he was touted as the next generational pitcher. He's been very good, but he's not the level people projected him at.
  15. Nobody puts mvp in a corner...
  16. Is he typically better in the first inning?
  17. Furthermore, no player should be untouchable in the right deal. If you're the Padres, there is conceivably a deal that would make sense to move Tatis. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herschel_Walker_trade
  18. No prospect should be untouchable in the right deal.
  19. Sorry, I meant "2023" in the second sentence.
  20. I think it's more likely he blows out his arm his next start.
  21. Just DFA.
  22. Yairo Munoz has a 20 game hit streak. Yorke has reached base in 29 straight. Player of the Day: The SoxProspects.com June Pitcher of the Month, Brandon Walter struggled in his first three outings after a promotion to High-A Greenville. Despite those struggles, Walter's strong peripherals indicated that he'd gotten a little unlucky thus far. The six-foot-two lefthander left little up to luck on Wednesday, striking out 12 of the 22 batters he faced on his way to giving up just one hit in six innings. Walter has struck out 33 batters and walked only three in his 18 innings with Greenville, giving him a ratio of 79 to nine across both levels. Not sure I've mentioned Brandon Walter before.
  23. Jeter Down's OPS is now at 584.
