    It's July 14th. There's no way he starts a game this year unless the plan is for him to only go 3 innings. They are not going to stretch him out. Maybe his best role is as a bulk reliever type? I don't think anyone would have been upset at that profile this offseason.

    In terms of aesthetics he's probably talking about the shift. Entertainment wise is probably the lack of runs. What's pleasing for fans is obviously installing robot umps and pitch clocks immediately.

    Pitch clock is easier to establish as fans are more familiar with the tech (already used in football and basketball). Once the fans are comfortable with that change, the switch to robo umps (which still use human umps behind the plate) will be fine.
