    I believe they tried working on pitch mix and the shape of some of his pitches. They got more horizontal movement out of him in '24, but worse results. We also know he was a candidate for regression ('23: 2.88 ERA/3.89 xFIP). I think they were never impressed with the work he put in whenever he was in AAA. He was unhappy with them. They weren't thrilled with him.

    I'd rather have had him in AAA than Tristan Gray, I think. 🫠 Now watch Gray be Romy 2.0. If he's just Nate Eaton, it's not worth it.

    I think that was the DFA of Guerrero. At least that was to me. Then they decided to trade him to the Rays for some reason. 🫠 They now have one roster spot open (if Winckowski is actually DFA'd, just reported not official) to add a Rule 5 guy or not.
