    In retrospect, signing Yorke underslot and landing Blaze in the 3rd round was a great job by Bloom. If they sign another 1st round guy at slot, no way could they sign Blaze afterwards. Yorke looks like he can hit. Blaze looks like he can hit. The questions surrounding those guys are where they play. There's been an assumption that Yorke would go to LF, but if Downs doesn't pan out, Yorke probably sticks at 2b.

    Marwin's contract was just a little bit smaller than Richards and Ottavino. They had to sign guys like Marwin and Santana because of spending elsewhere.

    I'm not sure he said exactly that. He said that the deals at the deadline were cost prohibitive and he did everything he could to stay under the luxury tax and not negatively impact the future of the ballclub.

    I think you are more likely to reinjure or have a major setback if you are working your way back from the IL than if you are just a regular healthy player.
