  1. You would. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_and_Jill_(2011_film)
  2. Was it the PBR 99 case? https://www.delish.com/food-news/a29800556/99-pack-of-pbr/
  3. He was right as rain when the playoffs came around. If it wasn't for good 'ole Buch, the David Ortiz grand slam wouldn't be as noteworthy.
  4. Wade Boggs hurt himself taking off his cowboy boots. Bob Stanley fell down some stairs while taking out the trash, injuring tendons and nerves in his throwing hand by landing on a glass bottle.
  5. Buch injured his shoulder napping with his infant.
  6. AKA the RECENCY EFFECT
  7. How about Beni's 2021: 8 SB 9 CS .471%
  8. I don't know which part of this conversation is the saddest: Vaz leads the Sox in SB's or Mookie has a .667 success rate.
  9. If it's in extras, I'd pinch run for Vaz because he may be the worst baserunner on the team.
  10. Sox also hit much better at home.
  11. Neither of them are Cal Ripken Jr, but JD seems to be usually a bit healthier, but maybe it's due to his DHing.
  12. Attendance numbers are partially due to where the stadium is located. They have really decent tv ratings.
  13. I think JD is better in the OF than Schwarber.
  14. So like trading some guys at the deadline when you're in first place because the prices are outrageous and you really want to restock the farm?
  15. Catcher (3) Christian Vázquez, Kevin Plawecki, Connor Wong Infield (6) Xander Bogaerts, Rafale Devers, Bobby Dalbec, Christian Arroyo, Travis Shaw, Jonathan Araúz Outfield (4) Kyle Schwarber, Alex Verdugo, Hunter Renfroe, Jarren Duran IF/OF (1) Kiké Hernández Starting Pitcher (1) Nathan Eovaldi Relief Pitchers (11) Garrett Whitlock, Garrett Richards, Adam Ottavino, Tanner Houck, Hansel Robles, Matt Barnes, Ryan Brasier, Eduardo Rodriguez, Nick Pivetta, Josh Taylor, Austin Davis
  16. @alexspeier A couple omissions of note on the roster: as expected, Sale is not on the roster for tonight’s game. More surprising: No Sawamura or Darwinzon Hernandez in the bullpen. Both Nick Pivetta and Eduardo Rodriguez are on the roster.
  17. OPS vs Cole: Kiké 1481 Verdugo 929 Devers 934 Xander 575 Renfroe 438 Schwarber 440
  18. It's JD's worst full offensive season since 2013. However, he still has the 3rd highest OPS and 4th in WRC+ for Sox regulars. His down season is still preferable to have in the lineup. The real question is that with two bad ankles, could he even play the OF at any point? If not, that really limits how he can help the team going forward.
  19. He would have the smallest strike zone since Eddie Gaedel.
  20. That's why it's not truly Tampa Rays North. Bloom can do Tampa things, but is still able to bury some large dead contracts if he needs to. Tampa can't.
  21. Well, I hope I get to hand out lots of dog treats tonight and dance with a chihuahua. Not sure if the cats will participate.
  22. Hope you gave your cats some treats for that one.
  23. Eovaldi vs Cole Let's win one more and get into the playoffs.
  24. It's not great, but having Dalbec at 1b and Schwarber at DH isn't terrible. Just need Verdugo to have a solid game and not make any dumb mistakes. Yes, Arroyo will be starting at 2b tonight.
