    Also, the biggest problem that comes from resting these guys is that the bench is f***ing horrible. That's on Bloom. You need to be able to sit a guy once every other week, but the guy that comes in can't be a total dud like Shaw. If you have to DH Travis Shaw in 2022, you deserve to lose.

    He's 1 for 13 over the past 4 games, 3 BB, 7K. Early on in the season, that can really tank your numbers. Before this stretch he was OPSing 937 and it's now down to 801. I'm not worried.

    @SPChrisHatfield Can confirm that LHP Jeremy Wu-Yelland had Tommy John surgery yesterday. The #SP60 no. 40 prospect was the club's 4th-round pick in 2020. He spent most of last season in Salem before a 3-game cameo in Greenville.
