What did I slip on exactly? It was reported yesterday that Wong was coming up. It is now being reported that Ronaldo Hernandez is also coming up.

He'll be off the roster for 10 games this season. He's due to lose $44,198. The bigger loss is that if the Sox are in contention, he'll miss games on 9/30, 10/1 and 10/2. Not ideal!

@ChrisCotillo This story is updated with Alex Cora saying the Red Sox will be missing multiple players in Toronto. Identities of others unknown. Believe most, if not all, key offensive players will be available. Eovaldi, Pivetta definitely, too. As of now, Houck is only known one (Sale on IL) Chris Cotillo is not a reliable source though.

Per the last podcast, they stated that it was no longer fair to have him listed. Nobody knows if he'll ever play or if he's even thrown a ball the last few years. Maybe he comes back throwing like he did in Lowell? Maybe he comes back with lesser velocity? Maybe he never comes back? It's been so long that they can't rank him.

I wonder if there are still different protocols for being in close proximity if you are unvaxxed vs vaxxed? There were lots of rules about it last season. The mandatory quarantine could be different too.
