  1. She is sane. She escaped the asylum. Good for her.
  2. Top 10 record in MLB. Power Rankings are lame. NY bias.
  3. @kennlandry Rangers Minor League trade: RHP Zack Littell is being sent to Boston for cash considerations. Littell had a 2.25 ERA at Triple-A Round Rock this season. WOO's bullpen is pretty bad, so expect more moves like this.
  4. Actually, no. Kaleb Ort is 18th in the league in Stuff+. Crawford is tied at 93rd.
  5. Jays losses: Cards 2 Royals 1 Angels 1 Tigers 1 Rays 1 Astros 2 Yankees 1 Mariners 1 Red Sox 4 Jays lucked out by already playing the Royals, Tigers and White Sox.
  6. Just sick. He'll be back tomorrow most likely. Not an injury.
  7. @alexspeier Red Sox pregame hitters’ meetings have taken on a new dynamic this year. Players - led by Turner, Verdugo, Hernández, and Devers - are speaking up, outlining individual and collective approaches, that have translated to games. “It’s been extraordinary.” Team Leader Rafael Devers
  8. @IanMBrowne Kutter Crawford to the IL retroactive to May 4 with left hamstring strain. Kaleb Ort replaces him on roster.
  9. Should Hugh be allowed in the club though? He's basically a guy outside the polling place holding a sign who then forgets to actually vote.
  10. And Seattle has graduated a lot of young talent recently. #1 overall pitch fWAR #2 starters #2 relievers #19 offense/defense (28th 2B, 30th DH)
  11. Since 2008: Average 4 seamer is up 2.5 mph Slider usage has increased 75%
  12. Well... I have my theory, but that would just bring more hate into their hearts. They want the Sox to lose. I want to enjoy the good times when they are around. Life is too short.
  13. @redsoxstats Most hard hit balls in MLB Last 15 days 1. 33, Yoshida Last 10 days 1. 23, Yoshida Last 5 days 1. 15, Yoshida
  14. All posters are SUSPECTS until the get 10,000 posts.
  15. This isn't true. People would say the Sox are a "2nd place team" from 98-05, but that's because of the division they were in. That didn't mean they were a second rate team. To some people it meant that though. "Why can't they be a real team like the Yankees and win a pennant?"
  16. What is most important: Winning the division Getting into the playoffs and trying for the WS Also, I don't remember too many people on here (any?) projecting them to win the division anyway. Shouldn't people be excited that they are playing better than their expectations???
  17. @SamDykstraMiLB Set your Minor League calendars accordingly. The Arizona Complex, Dominican Summer and Florida Complex Leagues are scheduled to begin one month from today on June 5
  18. Maybe if you weren't a curmudgeon all the time, we'd give you a break.
  19. What was the media saying before the season? No buzz! Last place team! Worse than 2022! They have the 4th best record in the AL. The AL East is very strong this season. It has a shot to get 4 playoff teams in this year.
  20. To me, Bloom had a value placed on Masataka and the Sox scouts really liked him for a long time. I'd rather Bloom go out with his best offer and say "we don't want you to look anywhere else, you're our guy" than dick around in contract discussions and lose out to some other team like he did with other FAs. They identified a player that they highly desired and acquired him. Great job! No notes.
  21. Weren't you calling him Shane Blowshan just last week?
  22. 86-90 wins moonslav59, mvp 78, notin Interesting!!!
  23. You can just click on the blue 3 at the top of the page to see who voted for 86-90.
  24. Today is THE day to be that guy.
  25. I think this is still an 84 win talent team. We're just seeing them picking up a few of those extra wins right now because of the good vibes that will get them to 88 wins. Last year's team didn't put up the fight this year's team does. I said it on Opening Day. Even though they lost, they still put up a great effort and made it close. Last year's team would have turtled. 2023 Sox puts the ball in play, limits K's and will just keep competing. They feel relentless right now top to bottom. That attitude is what really has made those Rays teams good all these years.
