  1. Of course you find it hilarious. I'm sure poor Spud is now ashamed.
  2. Thank you for the inside information, my good sir.
  3. According to who? (Maybe some Yankee fans?) He's a slap hitter with *some* gap power.
  4. So much God-given talent that kid has, yet he simply can't muster up the brainpower to put it to better use.
  5. Ellsbury K's less, walks more, has a bit more power and much better speed. All i'm sayin'.
  6. I sincerely hope to be proven wrong.
  7. This is the way i see it. This is a very personal POV of mine, but hitting 1st is the most difficult spot in any lineup. Cabrera's "hidden" in the Yanks lineup, i just look at hitting 1st as a different beast altogether, that's what makes players like Chone Figgins so special. But that's just an opinion, if you want to call them "comparable" go ahead.
  8. I was referring to the game actually. Remember that AB he took with RISP and he hacked at the first pitch and popped it up? If the man could muster up some plate discipline, he'd be a HOFer.
  9. They'll be comparable when they both hit 8th, or they both hit 1st.
  10. Only OBP huh? And Pujols is comparable to no one. He's on a league of his own.
  11. Lee wins tonight. The Yanks rock Pedro at NYS. Lightning won't strike twice in the same spot.
  12. He's a better hitter too. I don't see how they're comparable if Ells is better at everything.
  13. Your logic, in itself, is flawed. We're comparing Melky to Ells. We're not analyzing whether he's a threat or not. In the Melky vs. Ellsbury debate, Ellsbury is clearly better.
  14. How can they be equal is Ells outdid him in every significant offensive category? I mean, the 60 SB difference is not that big (sarcasm) but come on.
  15. This makes a lot of sense actually.
  16. Gonzales>Tex last year. In Petco. With the Padres' lineup.
  17. Youk's our best OBP guy. He should hit in front of Gonzo with Holliday hitting 5th in this scenario.
  18. I disagree on the lineup. I'd like Youk 3rd and Gonzo 4th even if Pedey hits 2nd. I love L-R-L-R, but Gonzo would need to hit 4th.
