  1. Yet they're still not as big a dumps as stadiums like YS 2. Just sayin'.
  2. Well it was our very own version of Yankees- Red Sox, Tigueres Del Licey and Aguilas Del Cibao, Aguilas had John Halama pitching in the luckiest performance i have ever seen by a starting pitcher, with over 10 line drives that found gloves and around 4 warning track shots, (Quisqueya stadium is the Caribbean Petco, it's where HRs go to DIE), bottom line it's tied 1-1 in the 8th and in comes our old friend Julian Tavarez for the Aguilas, couple batters later it's 3-1 Licey (Walk then HR, typical Tavarez). In the 9th comes Licey closer Oneli Perez, and ballgame.
  3. He had the single luckiest performance i have ever seen for a pitcher. Then out came Julian Tavarez (lol) and gives up the 2-run game winner. Licey maintains its hot streak.
  4. It varies from year to year. But we've had Jose Guillen, Kendry Morales, Nelson Cruz, Bartolo Colon, Vladimir Guerrero, Hanley Ramirez, Erick Aybar, Ronny Paulino, among others all playing here. Usually what you see here is a lot of ML-ready talent taking their hacks with advanced pitching.
  5. Hahaha John Halama is pitching in the Winter Leagues. I thought that guy had died of old age or something.
  6. I wasn't referring to Damon's OPS+, i was referring to his 915/795 home/road OPS splits, since he was the only Yankee player besides Swisher, who had a reverse 776/946 home/road split, to have an extreme difference in home/road OPS, however, the fact that the stadium tremendously helped their overall production is legit IMHO.
  7. They're listening. And groundwork for a deal was possibly laid near the trade deadline.
  8. No one has earned the right to be a diva.
  9. We have our own network from Dominican (CDN) covering the WS live.
  10. I stand corrected. But from the angle in 0:31 it looks like it was caught on the air, and that's the one we had.
  11. I like how people say "It's because the team is old" and someone even went as far as saying Beltran is "old". The man is 32. Stop it. If you go through the injury list i posted before, you'll notice they were mostly freak injuries and, with the notable exception of Delgado, happened to some of the younger members of the team (not counting Beltran, 'cause he's clearly due for a retirement home).
  12. Well i'd love to have Harden's "bland personality" here if he's gonna bring the high 90's heat and filthy splitter along with it.
  13. I think we're kinda undervaluing Reddick and what he brings to the table. I believe a team such as the Padres (specially with Hoyer at the helm) would be greatly intrigued by his skillset.
  14. And how much exactly would you pay for Lackey lol?
