Pedro was effective and on full rest, Hamels got hammered and would not be on full rest. The decision is a no-brainer.

You misunderstand. Pedro for game 6 against Pettite. Should they win, Hamels vs Sabathia in game 7 with Lee as the bullpen weapon.

What i meant by "Deal Breaker" was Manuel's ability to use a combination of Hamels, then Lee in a potential game 7. An interesting statistic is that Hamels' ERA nearly doubles from the 5th-7th inning, so Manuel could go with Hamels for 4, then use Lee should he need to. How you would think i'd advocate for Lee pitching on game 7 with 2 day's rest is beyond me.
