  1. He did apologize publicly......
  2. All good points, as "innocent until proven guilty" is indeed the American doctrine, but it's not the same here, especially with domestic/gender violence issues. Here you get thrown in the slammer and you have to be proven innocent, so touche. On a side note, being weary of the other crap is fair, but Bauer's not an idiot, and he knows that if he signs with a team, he'll be walking on thin ice, and certain provisions could be included in his contract.
  3. It shouldn't be. Dude's gonna get paid to throw a baseball. How he wants to f*** is his deal. What he thinks of climate change is his deal. We just need him to get guys out.
  4. Well you can f*** off right back. Dude was proven innocent in a court of law.
  5. Verdugo's just lazy, Pham is small potatoes, and they backpedaled hard on Pham. Also, that Franco joke is taking it too far. A guy who likes rough sex and a pedophile are pretty goddamn far apart.
  6. One thing I see with this ownership group is that they're pussies, always shying away from controversial players.
  7. I like Bauer and Clevinger despite their off-field issues.
  8. Easier to work with them if you show them genuine belief in their abilities.
  9. Did you expect him to tell the pitching staff that they f***ing suck and tank whatever's left of team morale? Learn to read between the lines.
  10. The draft is not the problem. Stop beating that drum.
  11. I mean, it's a discussion about something. The FO is doing nothing, so yeah.
  12. I suggest adding sit ups, push ups and plenty of juice (not that kind) to their routine.
  13. That's hard, considering my 4-year-old has more muscle mass than Henry.
  14. Maybe try to choke out a broadcaster? idk
  15. The irony is palpable.
  16. What I mean is that Clevinger is very likely to take a one year pillow contract.
  17. But it happens. Some guys outright ditch and throw sinkers instead.
  18. Ok, so where's your proof of this happening?
  19. You mean Clevinger.
  20. They haven't signed him, but he makes sense for the cannon fodder approach the Red Sox seem to be taking.
  21. I like Clevinger as a reclamation project for Bailey as much as I like Gio. His fastball velocity ticked up last year, and he's a guy who I think could benefit from alterations to his pitch mix.
  22. I think those were both ownership-propelled moves, as they were a stark contrast (especially Pablo) to what Ben was trying to do. Hanley was exciting but older and practically immobile, and we all know all of the problems Panda had.
