  1. Sorry I'm late to the party. I'm in as well. I also concur with the cats ORS posted. Definitely no to wins and fielding percentage.
  2. Rose dropped a career-high 42 points against the Spurs. Just had his way with them. Stud.

    Pujols

I dunno. I heard the Cards' initial offer to Pujols was pretty low. Like insultingly low compared to other players' salaries. I think he walks after the season is over.
  4. Kruk was also like what, 48 years old at the time? Put him up against Finch when he was 28 and it'd be a different story. By the way, Finch is a babe.
  5. Neat story. He's only 17, so he could conceivably develop.
  6. I don't blame him. They brought in Beltre and Napoli, so it's only natural for him to think he's going to lose a lot of ABs. He's done everything they've asked him to do, and he's one of the franchise's great (and untainted) players.
  7. I've heard talk about the Cubs being in on Pujols, but it doesn't compute. Cardinals fans would be incensed if the Cards didn't resign Pujols; they'd be inconsolable if the Cards let him go to the Cubs. Besides, so far Ricketts has not been a big spender at all.
  8. And this is one of his tamer posts.
  9. Phil Rogers - who I believe is a closet Yankee fan - thinks the White Sox should trade Floyd, Danks, or Jackson to the Yankees because they have Peavy (an unknown quantity at this point) and Sale (who he thinks can log 175 innings in his first full pro season). http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/whitesox/sc-spt-0206-notes-rogers-baseball--20110205,0,6563579.column
  10. Admitting it after you've already been caught doesn't take any balls. Palmeiro was caught and yet he still denies it. Now, that takes balls.
  11. Funny coming from you. These are two things you know nothing about. Wait, so just because I don't personally know LeBron means I can't dislike him in any way? I don't follow that logic.
  12. Just making the playoffs will be hard enough, but I don't see the Yankees going anywhere with Sabathia, Hughes, and Burnett as their top 3. That won't cut it in October.
  13. Yeah, that rings true. Wallace was always his own worst enemy. Guys with poise at the four like Tim Duncan are the exception, not the norm.
  14. KG is definitely one of the all-time greats, but sometimes he is too intense for his own good on the court. His intensity is a strength and a weakness.
  15. She has a nice face and she has a bangin' body. In short, she's a babe.
  16. For what it's worth, my vote would definitely go to Kim.
  17. Plus, Juan Pierre is adorable. ...Don't look at me like that.
  18. I call hyperbole.
  19. If Crawford and Ellsbury don't each swipe at least 45 bags, they will have had down years.
  20. Rose plays with two stomach ulcers. He has to be considered a viable MVP candidate at this point.
  21. No doubt Banuelos is an impressive young southpaw, but ask yourself this: is he better right now than Hellickson? Hellickson is MLB-ready as of this moment and frankly was last year as well. The same probably cannot be said for Banuelos. So why is he ranked higher? The upside is there, and he's a lefty, but he hasn't proven himself beyond High-A ball yet.
