  1. Who the hell is announcing this game?
  2. Imagine having a player and manager get thrown out on a pitch that was a strike lol
  3. Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports David Hamilton will join the Red Sox ahead of Wednesday's game against the Twins. Hamilton will link up with the Red Sox in Minnesota in case utility infielder Pablo Reyes winds up requiring a trip to the injured list due to right abdominal soreness. The 25-year-old speedster, who recorded 70 thefts last year at Double-A Portland, and already has 27 steals this season for Triple-A Worcester, might get a chance to make his big league debut this week. - NBCSports
  4. What a save by Corey Kluber!!
  5. Kluber is literally giving up 420 foot bombs
  6. Kluber might be the worst pitcher in baseball
  7. Hopefully Sox can add a few more runs and let Corey Kluber finish this off
  8. Man does Corey Kluber suck ass
  9. Devers is really struggling
  10. Hopefully this game is Kluber proof and he can finish off the last 3 innings and save actual valuable pitchers from being used
  11. This stadium can cause some weird bounces, so I wouldn’t rule it out.
  12. Yeah I think his biggest issue is always that he cannot make consistent contact. The shift doesn’t impact that
  13. Arroyo is having the game of his life
  14. “I get the defensive strategies. I do. I am 100 percent not against that… But I think at some point, you have to fix the game a little bit…” Gallo said. “I don’t understand how I’m supposed to hit a double or triple when I have six guys standing in the outfield.” I just had to look it up and he apparently blamed a lot of his Yankees struggles on the shift lol
  15. Didn’t Gallo blame the shift for his low batting average every year?
  16. Christian Arroyo is having a nice game Good start by Crawford Hopefully bullpen can hold this
  17. I don't see it happening either. I think someone will trade for him though. I can't imagine his value his high with his MLB track record and Sox seem to view him as an afterthought.
  18. He does deserve credit for the pitching mess he has been handed this year. Like I said the only criticisms of him were the loyalty to Kike at SS, who clearly isn't good there and for some reason he seemed to have a weird loyalty to putting Brasier into high leverage situations, when he's been very bad for a few years now. Overall, I don't really blame him for any of the pitching moves. He didn't sign any of these bad relief pitchers and he can't pitch the same 2-3 guys every day and has to manage the pitching for the long run. He isn't a problem at all and he's done a fine job, but you can still occasionally criticize someone with a move that is questionable and isn't working out.
  19. His numbers in the minors right now are ridiculous. I imagine someone takes a shot on him. He could have finally figured it out, he could be an AAAA player. Jury is definitely still out. He is about to turn 28, so hes getting close to make or break for his career.
  20. I don't even mention Cora most the times in game threads. If anything the one I'm usually criticizing is the umpires or the plethora of s***** pitchers we bring out each night. This is the most I've talked about Cora all season. The only thing I even remember mentioning recently was that he said Reyes would be starting at SS more over Kike and I praised him for that. I'm way more likely to criticize a player than I am the manager... You can literally look at my post history.
  21. It wouldn't shock me if Dalbec did get traded and ended up figuring it out with another team. Sometimes player just need a change of scenery.
  22. I wasn't old enough to comprehend what was really happening at the time, but yes, I've heard he was awful.
  23. I'm not saying he's bad or calling for his head. But people on here are either slurping him for every last thing he does or calling for his head. He isn't responsible for some of the things that happened like Kluber being horrible or for the Red Sox signing and starting a racist homophobe and basically punting a game. But I also think its fair to question some things - like the extremely long leash Kike got at SS with his overall bad play and for his tendency to trust Ryan Brasier a bit too much. For example, he let him attempt to save two games, why? . I also question why Ryan Brasier was even on the roster, but that's a different topic.
