I get that. But some of the pitches are egregious missed. That missed strike 3 Houck threw was literally right down the middle. We don’t need a box on the screen to see that.
They do umpire reports after each game and this dude routinely grades as a bad umpire who misses dozens or ball/strike calls.. he’s sucks at his job and doesn’t need you defending him.
Manny was also one of the greatest hitters the game has ever seen. It’s lot easier to deal with shaky defense when you hit .300 literally your whole career with an OPS over a 1000.
Plus Manny HAD to play the field because the team also employed another hall of fame hitter who has to DH.
Yoshida is a good hitter but he isn’t on the level of Manny and due to the DH spot not being occupied full time by a David Ortiz or JD Martinez, I’d like to see him DH more when Duvall is back
Garbage time runs? They literally had the trying run on 3rd against the other teams closer… if that run scored, was it a garbage run also?
