  1. Refsnyder seems to always have a good AB
  2. I can understand Duvall over Duran, but really Kike?
  3. The Paxton dilemma is a tough one. He’s pitching great and a lot of contenders could use another starter. The Sox are in a tough spot, they’re not bad by means, but making the playoffs is going to be very tough with the rotation in shambles. If a team comes calling and panics and offers some good prospects, it would be hard to pass that up. Especially when you factor in some of the teams reportedly interested are teams like Reds and Dodgers who have some really enticing prospects.
  4. I’m glad he’s doing well, same with Mookie. I’m not gonna root for the Dodgers to win games or anything but I have no problem rooting for former Sox players who played their ass off while here and contributed to great memories, including a championship.
  5. He is, but he can do a lot of damage in 1-2 innings with how bad he is.
  6. Sox are starting a 31 year old with a career 10 ERA. This can go only go well
  7. With the new season they did at least add a new 99 overall Corbin Carroll, I think he’s a really long grind to get though. Like you have to finish every team affinity and collect the cards for him. I need that card for my squad though. His swing is so nice and he’s a game changer with that speed. If you want a similar guy. I’ve been absolutely raking with Jackson Hollidays 99 card. Only thing is Jackson is infielder.
  8. I’d be down. Me and my friends play the s*** out of Co Op in diamond dynasty when we have time. I need to fix my team though because of this season thing where I apparently lose Pedro Martinez, Chipper Jones, Trea Turner, Mike Trout and Munetaka Murakami. I’ll pm you my gamer tag.
  9. Yeah but he’s also coming off a bad season last year and is 35 soon. Plus, some players really struggle coming back from wrist injuries. He needs to start hitting
  10. Duvall is hitting .167 in 78 AB since coming back. He’s been absolutely horrendous since his injury.
  11. Hes had 65 career at bats against left handed pitchers… maybe give him a bigger sample size?
  12. I legitimately don’t know. They beat some pretty good teams during that streak also.
  13. Outstanding game by Duran. Solid start for Paxton. But holy s*** are the A’s bad. Like I can’t believe this is an MLB team. They struggle with simple concepts like covering bases, catching pop ups and fielding grounders.
  14. I don’t want to use the term “must win” in a random July game against Oakland, but this game is one the Sox need to get. Paxton on the mound vs worst team in league and another bullpen game looming? Need this one
  15. Covid definitely sucked for a lot of people. I work with a lot of teenagers and college kids and 2020/2021 school years really messed with their lives. It ruined prom, it ruined spring sports, it ruined graduation. It kinda of made everyone anti social and depressed and I’m not sure some of them have fully recovered. I was fortunate to not be impacted much other than getting off 3 months from work. But in terms of the friends thing - outside of work, I almost never make new friends, it’s really hard in your 20s, I’ve basically just kept a group chat going with some of my HS/college friends for about 10 years and we try to multiple times a month just hop on a FaceTime, or in an Xbox party and shoot the s***, talk Sports, play MLB the show and do whatever else. That definitely helped me during covid.
  16. It’s pretty fun sitting in a room with your friends trying to guess them. For the Yankees/Rockies player I kept insisting Tulo played for Yankees and no one would believe me/remembered it lol
  17. Anybody ever player immaculate grid? Me and my friend play it and it’s really fun as a baseball fan
  18. Hopefully it’s not. But he left the game instantly and was in a lot of pain
  19. Corbin Carroll appeared to have seriously injured his shoulder on a swing tonight. Very unfortunate. The diamondbacks are a surprise team and have been led by him.
  20. At least Martin only threw 1 pitch
  21. This is just amazing. Everything is going the Sox way this inning
  22. Player of the game right now is probably Winckowski for allowing 0 runs after coming into the game with 2nd and 3rd no one out
  23. Wong with a huge night, on base 4 times
