    They traded Devers to save money to acquire another big bat… I’m still waiting On this alleged big bat signing!

    He’s not an addition. He was already on the team last season. Signing Bregman puts them in essentially same position as last year, while every other team in division is improving.

    Vaughn Grissom just got traded to Angels per Passan. - no word on return yet but can’t imagine it’s much if anything

    Yeah I had a feeling he was destined to stay with Phillies and I couldn’t see Dombrowski getting outbid for him. Diaz is getting 3 years $69 million from Dodgers - that’s a high AAV but Dodgers can afford it and I’m not surprised

    Not really sure where to post this but Schwarber is staying in Philly for 5/$150 million. Edwin Diaz also just signed with dodgers.

    Notre Dame actually saw their SOS improve, they killed Boise State earlier in season and Boise won their conference championship.

    Notre Dame missing the playoffs is an absolute joke. How did Miami pass them when the committee ranked Notre Dame ahead of them in previous weeks and both teams were idle? The conference argument is also stupid because Miami didn’t even win their conference against a 5 loss Duke team. On top of that, Alabama is so protected by the committee it’s insane, they lost 3 games, including an embarrassing effort vs Florida State that got ignored by committee for some reason and they looked like s*** in their conference championship but those results were ignored for whatever reason. College football really sucks right now

    College football is a mess right now. Between the coaching ******** like Kiffin is doing and the players transferring every year and basically having an open free agency with no rules every year, it’s gotten very bad. I dont know how they fix this, but something needs to be done.

    If a teams #4 or 5 is Sonny gray, they have an elite rotation. He’s better than that

    I wouldn’t call Sonny Gray “dumpster diving” it’s not like he’s some random bum or something. He’s had a very good career. Is he past his prime? Most likely but he could still be a very good pitcher and help this team. I still want them to explore getting another pitcher, but he’s a solid get.

    For that package, I’m fine with the trade. He basically is replacing Giolito. I do hope they make a move for another SP still.
