    Giolito wasn’t “injured” but he was coming off an absolutely horrible second half of the season where he played for 3 different teams. It wasn’t shocking an injury popped up after the signing.

    I never understood the Sandoval move. Breslow for some reason seems to like signing guys with serious injuries and paying them to not play for a season. Giolito, Hendriks and Fulmer were similar signings.

    They traded Devers to save money to acquire another big bat… I’m still waiting On this alleged big bat signing!

    He’s not an addition. He was already on the team last season. Signing Bregman puts them in essentially same position as last year, while every other team in division is improving.

    At this rate there is a very high chance the Red Sox go into next season with a worse roster than this season.
