    Pedroia has way more value to this team than he does in trade, and Castillo wont net us anything, he has been horrible and his contract is awful.

    I agree with this. I don't know what's wrong with him. he's taking pitches down the middle on 2-0 counts, then swinging at pitches a foot outside on 3-1 counts, I have no idea what he is doing at the plate anymore.

    I'm sure we can get an elite pitcher for a s***** outfielder that no one wants and a 32 year old injury prone 2B who has 6 years and 87 million left on his contract.

    STOP SWINGING AT BALLS. Shields has horrible command and on a 3-1 count why the f*** would you swing at a pitch that's a foot outside?

    I'm so glad we have Ryan Lamarre on the team. Without him, there really wouldn't be any point of watching. I just wish they sold his player shirts already so I didn't have to create a custom one and wait for prolonged shipping.

    I try to forget about the 2012 team. Whole team was injured, Bobby Valentine was the manager, the year we trade A-Gon, had guys like Mauro Gomez starting, was just a horrible season, the 2nd half was actually hard to watch, because it wasn't even watching young guys and hoping for future, it was watching washed up guys and scrubs.

    Chris Young lined a ball off the monster, was running hard out of the box trying to get 2 and as soon as he rounded 1B he collapsed with what appeared to be a serious hamstring injury, he crawled back into first and couldn't get up under his own power and had to be basically carried off. It didn't look good.
