  1. I agree, but if Price could turn back into David Price and at least one starter was acquired, this offense could carry a rotation with only one black-hole. But point is, we need a lot to happen right now. Its just frustrating, because Orioles rotation is equally as awful as ours and they are 6 games ahead of us now.
  2. So you want to hold onto three catchers, one of which who is turning 36, has been injury prone his whole career, has horrible failed his main job this season (to catch Wright) and has looked completely lost at the plate? Vazquez has done a way better job at catching Wright and Leon won't clear waivers. So you want to lose Leon or send Vazquez to the minors? This has nothing to do with Leon's absurdly hot bat, he will cool off, I just think Vazquez and Leon is a better combo at this point in their respective career.
  3. I think we can all agree that the rotation outside of Wright/Porcello has been awful. We have two spots in the rotation who don't even give the team a CHANCE to win most of the time. E-Rod, Elias, O'Sullivan, Buchholz, Owens, and Kelly have combined to make 30 starts and we've gotten a combined 7 quality starts from them, which is pathetic. Price will get better, I definitely believe that and am confident in that, but the team couldn't afford him having a below average 1st half, especially for his standards and money with how bad the rest of the rotation is. Him being bad has definitely hurt the team more than anybody else, most of us expected Buchholz to be out for the season with some ******** injury at this point anyway, the fact he is sucking isn't a surprise and to blame the season on him isn't fair. He sucks, but this season is far from his fault. Something needs to be done to have any shot this year. We have two blackholes, an under-performing ace in Price, a guy pitching like an ace in Wright and a guy pitching solid in Porcello, which won't get it done. If Price doesn't turn his s*** around very soon AND a move for a SP isn't made, this team will finish third or worse. I'm usually pretty positive about the outlook of this team, but this team has way too many issues at the moment.
  4. I just don't see how getting rid of Hanigan is a "Mistake" he offers nothing offensively or defensively that Vazquez/Leon don't and is older.
  5. Nice win. Rare that we get to see good pitching and hitting in same game.
  6. Offense has blown this open a little. Now hopefully the bullpen doesn't blow ass tonight.
  7. Good start from Porcello, it looked like it was going to be awful in the 5th, but he battled and gave us 6 solid innings of 1 run ball.
  8. Nice quick inning for Porcello, which is what he really needed. Might be able to sneak another inning out of him now.
  9. True that.. Its weird to actually be the first team to score for once. Its become a habit to be down by 3-4 in the 3rd inning...
  10. 89 pitches through 4. We'll be lucky to get 1 more full inning from him.. Jesus.
  11. Even if Porcello somehow gets out of this allowing only 1 run, this will be another short outing for our starters. Porcello is up to 85 pitches through 3.2
  12. This s***** ass ball park seriously needs to be torn down. Its such a piece of s***.
  13. That was a very odd play.. Ill take it though. 2-0.
  14. Damn that was a nice catch by Jennings.
  15. Its so frustrating that every f***ing night when I get home, I have to see another pitcher rocked. Can any of these dipshits have a good start aside from the top 3? Jesus Christ.
  16. f***ing awesome, you can't beat one of best teams in baseball when you 1. Waste huge scoring opportunities (Thanks Pedroia) 2. Making not only 1, but two f***ing errors, in the same damn inning..
  17. Why would they use a shift like that on a guy like Odor who is a GREAT bunter? That's his 7th bunt single, by far the most in baseball.
