  1. How many more chances does this dipshit get? He's made 13 starts and 3 of them are quality. I know a lot of the other options suck, but he's proven has not making any progress. He sucks. Good start Mookie.
  2. f*** BUCHHOLZ. Jesus Christ I am tired of watching this bum
  3. Mike Trout is one hell of a hitter
  4. In other good news - Dae Ho Lee just homered to extend Mariners lead over the Orioles to 3 in the 8th.
  5. We have Buchholz and O'Sullivan pitching the next two days, so we'll need the Gods, but even the help of God might not be enough to make Buchholz pitch well..
  6. Holy s*** we win!!
  7. Can they really overturn that? I don't know about this.
  8. Wow...huge break there..
  9. I thought that ball was gone off the bat...
  10. This game has had some really odd plays and I've only seen the bottom of the 6th on.
  11. What a play by Koji!
  12. Anyone have any idea if this game is starting up soon?
  13. And le the overpays, stupid deals and all the fun begin.. shortly after NBA free agency begins, Lakers give Timofey Mozgov a huge deal (4 years/64 million).
  14. Rodney was a guy I wanted to go after. Is the prospect the Padres acquired any good?
  15. I'm also beginning to think Willis is on thin ice.. A lot of guys are under-performing and/or downright just sucking this year and doesn't seem like improvement has been made since he's been hired.
  16. I don't really think its a knee-jerk reaction. He can't stay healthy and has failed miserably at his job this year as Wright's personal catcher. Plus he's turning 36.
  17. This. Plus its a very tough market to acquire a top of the rotation type pitcher in trade and this year in free agency is very weak for starting pitchers. If we trade Price and Porcello, this rotation would be horrific next season and its already bad enough as is.
  18. I don't really see what the Red Sox would sell? A lot of the guys are young guys, which make no sense to sell, and the older guys who would possibly make sense to sell, such as Chris Young are injured. Who realistically would they sell and what would be the benefit?
  19. I agree, but if Price could turn back into David Price and at least one starter was acquired, this offense could carry a rotation with only one black-hole. But point is, we need a lot to happen right now. Its just frustrating, because Orioles rotation is equally as awful as ours and they are 6 games ahead of us now.
  20. So you want to hold onto three catchers, one of which who is turning 36, has been injury prone his whole career, has horrible failed his main job this season (to catch Wright) and has looked completely lost at the plate? Vazquez has done a way better job at catching Wright and Leon won't clear waivers. So you want to lose Leon or send Vazquez to the minors? This has nothing to do with Leon's absurdly hot bat, he will cool off, I just think Vazquez and Leon is a better combo at this point in their respective career.
  21. I think we can all agree that the rotation outside of Wright/Porcello has been awful. We have two spots in the rotation who don't even give the team a CHANCE to win most of the time. E-Rod, Elias, O'Sullivan, Buchholz, Owens, and Kelly have combined to make 30 starts and we've gotten a combined 7 quality starts from them, which is pathetic. Price will get better, I definitely believe that and am confident in that, but the team couldn't afford him having a below average 1st half, especially for his standards and money with how bad the rest of the rotation is. Him being bad has definitely hurt the team more than anybody else, most of us expected Buchholz to be out for the season with some ******** injury at this point anyway, the fact he is sucking isn't a surprise and to blame the season on him isn't fair. He sucks, but this season is far from his fault. Something needs to be done to have any shot this year. We have two blackholes, an under-performing ace in Price, a guy pitching like an ace in Wright and a guy pitching solid in Porcello, which won't get it done. If Price doesn't turn his s*** around very soon AND a move for a SP isn't made, this team will finish third or worse. I'm usually pretty positive about the outlook of this team, but this team has way too many issues at the moment.
  22. I just don't see how getting rid of Hanigan is a "Mistake" he offers nothing offensively or defensively that Vazquez/Leon don't and is older.
  23. Nice win. Rare that we get to see good pitching and hitting in same game.
  24. Offense has blown this open a little. Now hopefully the bullpen doesn't blow ass tonight.
