I'm also beginning to think Willis is on thin ice.. A lot of guys are under-performing and/or downright just sucking this year and doesn't seem like improvement has been made since he's been hired.

I don't really think its a knee-jerk reaction. He can't stay healthy and has failed miserably at his job this year as Wright's personal catcher. Plus he's turning 36.

This. Plus its a very tough market to acquire a top of the rotation type pitcher in trade and this year in free agency is very weak for starting pitchers. If we trade Price and Porcello, this rotation would be horrific next season and its already bad enough as is.

I don't really see what the Red Sox would sell? A lot of the guys are young guys, which make no sense to sell, and the older guys who would possibly make sense to sell, such as Chris Young are injured. Who realistically would they sell and what would be the benefit?
