This was just an awful loss. at least 4 different times they had a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs and didn't score. Vazquez was horrendous. JD sucked, I have no idea why Price was pulled, Velazquez got hurt and Brian Johnson still sucks.
-
You can' have a closer by committee if you have a good bullpen, see the Rays. You can't do it when you have a bunch of AAAA players, like the Red Sox have in the pen. I can't believe we've had games where Hector Velazquez and Josh Smith have even had an opportunity at a save lol.
-
Johnson is an AAAA player, he is what he is. If you get into the 17th inning of a game you don't have many options. Its either a s***** pitcher or a position player.
-
After blowing two more saves tonight, the Red Sox are now 2nd in the MLB in blown saves, behind the Mets
-
That was predictable.
-
Johnson, Velazquez, Josh Smith, Colton Brewer, we have a lot of those types. AAAA players.
-
Johnson is definitely going to lose this game, he f***ing sucks.
-
At the same time, 1 run in those 10 innings would've been enough if the bullpen didn't blow two saves.
-
By the way, I like the Twins announcers, very unbiased.
-
He stepped out of the batters box, even Twins announcers said he did and showed a replay showing it..
-
Instead he took about 45 seconds lol.
-
Nice play by Xander.
-
With Brian Johnson in the game, this is looking like a loss.
-
The offense deserves a majority of the blame, but two different relievers also blew a save.
-
Velazquez looks hurt or something.
-
The Twins want to have this game, but the Red Sox sure f***ing don't.
-
Are you kidding me? What horrendous AB's by JD and Devers
-
Jesus, what an awful game for JD Martinez
-
Twins catcher has been great for Red Sox.
-

-
Embarrassing play for Minnesota
-
Awful game for JD
-
Vazquez has had some s***** f***ing AB
-
Please score multiple runs this time, make it harder for whoever the hell is pitching bottom of 14th

This team needs a real closer. They blow so many games
