    The following people care about the Yankees clinching in front of the Red Sox: 1) Obnoxious Yankee fans. 2) Idiot Red Sox fans. Oh and we're pretty much in the playoffs either way, so jerk it to the season series if you must.

    1) Drew can hit lefties just fine. If sitting Bay is laughable in your book, so is sitting Drew. But then again all you rely on is either subjective assessment or misleading stats to form your opinions, so I guess you're performing well up to the norm right now. 2) Spare us the effort ********. If you can't win the division and would have to work very very hard to not win the wild card, then you be conservative, rest your players, and focus on October. I don't give a f*** if the Yankees clinch in front of us. Nobody should. How is losing the division by 2 games any more or less important, in the grand scheme of things, than losing it by 7 or wherever we are at the moment? Shelf the fanboy crap.

    Lester's injury is devastating and its to a crucial part of a pitcher's body. He'll be scared to death next time he goes out to the mound and lose all of his effectiveness. This also stands a good chance of ruining his career for the forseeable future. [Whatever kind of knee injury this turns out to be]'s effects cannot be underestimated. /jacko
