As great a win as last night was, I'm getting a kick out of all the journalists and forum voices acting like the Celtics are some undead, uber-dangerous team that can always be trusted to turn back the clock and should never be counted out. Goes to show how amazing that game 4 finals comeback in 2008 was; it's 2013 and we're still surfing on it.
Seriously, the only other time besides that game we 'came back from the dead' was getting to the finals in 2010 after a bunch of bad regular season losses. In 2009 we pissed away two chances to shut the door on the highly beatable Magic, and we were sent home for it (we came out completely flat in game 7 on our court). In 2010 we s*** the bed in game 3 at home, and again in game 7 after we had a vice grip on it. 2011 we were injured and just thoroughly outplayed by Miami. Last year we took game 5 in Miami, then came back and laid an egg in Boston. Three of our last four seasons have ended because we got cocky and took games off, so I don't know where this mystique ******** is coming from. Its silly.
