    I also must tell you... I would much rather have the Sox do what they did in the off-season given the market and have flexibility going forward than spend $120 million on Matt Holliday.

    Indeed. Good times. I'm going to take a small part of the credit here seeing that about -2.3% of Red Sox fans expected Jason Varitek to hit 2 HR's tonight, plus getting 4 runs off Greinke. Birthday mojo FTW! Good win to get back on track and have a few guys rest. It would be big to come back and take the series tomorrow, which I fully expect to do.
