    He shredded both his hamstrings a few years ago when he played for Arizona and was never the same since. I don't know how much that has carried over, but it couldn't have helped.

    Lebron off to a great start in the 1st. Plus a lot of Celtics foul trouble due to really ticky officiating. Not a good sign.

    I saw Michael Irvin at Disney World when I was like 10. We were at some indoor video game exhibit or something and his daughters were playing ahead of us. They got up and a few minutes later we noticed they had left a purse, so we took it over to him and he was real nice and thanked us. He may be a dick for all I know, but he was nice that day at least. There were some other people badgering him for autographs about that time, but I could tell he was just trying to relax with his family so I didn't bother with it.

    One of my friends from Austria is visiting Boston and going to his first ever Sox game tonight. Lets go ahead and finish these guys off. Put me down for Dice going 6 IP, 6 H, 2 BB, 3 ER and a W tonight.

    Eric Byrnes is the man. Always has been one of my favorite non-Sox players. He seems like one of the coolest people on the planet.

    Er, I think I'll go with the guy who has been fantastic in the playoffs and has got us this far, thanks. I hope that was sarcasm. As for Krejci... dammit. Terrible news. Someone goes down literally EVERY game. Sturm, Krejci, etc. I halfway expect one of Chara's limbs to just rip off at any point now...

    Right. He was fantastic for 4 innings tonight, started to get tired, and Francona was asleep at the wheel. I think he should've pulled him much, much earlier than he did. ORS already made the point that tonight was basically his spring training. Tito should've pulled him in the 5th when he was clearly laboring and they could work up his pitch count over the next few starts. He let him stay out there too long and all hell broke loose. I'm encouraged from what I saw from Dice tonight, prior to the 5th inning obviously. I think he's going to be a lot better this season than what most people are expecting.

    It wouldn't be the 2010 Bruins season if someone wasn't going down every other game. Not Sturm's fault by any means, but the injuries this team has encountered have been like nothing I've ever seen. Gotta keep plugging away. Awesome game today. I had to watch the entire freaking game streaming online due to NBC showing stupid local weather alerts all afternoon.

    It's good to finally win the games we're supposed to. So frustrating looking back to the Tampa series and letting the Fri/Sat games get away like that.
