Oh yeah, definitely. I thought his reaction was the funniest part by far. I wouldn't count on him knowing much about Herb Brooks though. I don't think hockey is that big in Japan, but I could be wrong... -
Pujols now has 2 homers today. I continue to be amazed that he is pitched to. If you're going to be that stupid, you deserve to lose.

I definitely think Dice-K knows his English. Most Japanese players do, they just act like they don't most of the time so they don't have to talk to the American media. Now, as for the reference, no way he knows what's going on there.

I don't know about the rest of yall, but I can't wait to watch some baseball tomorrow. In fact, I'm skipping out on a couple of afternoon classes in honor of Opening Day. This will be my 6th straight season of having MLB Extra Innings and I plan on watching as many games as I can. Lots of good baseball to be played. The Angels/Twins and Braves/Cubs games tomorrow are the ones I'm looking forward to watching the most. Anyway, this is the baseball thread for everyone else.

I don't know, but lets cherish the time he isn't here. Even more incentive to root for the Red Sox to do well. He probably won't come around much.

It's nice to see we were able to overcome a terrible Beckett outing and still win. Pedro throwing out the first pitch caught me off gaurd. I thought that was fantastic.

Some of the naysayers must be pretty unhappy right about now. Good to see, but it's not like it's that surprising. These are consistent hitters.
