  1. Let's just win today. I've got to see this game so I ordered MLB.tv. Not bad for only $15 a month, I've got access to a lot of cool stuff. But I just want us to come out winning. We've got to get the win on this series.
  2. Most likely I'd assume so. Biggio just has all around great play. I remember when he had his knee injury, a lot of people speculated that as the end of his career. But dammit if he didn't come back in '01 with a supurb season.
  3. We can't win them all (well we did the other week during the 3 game series HA!). If we can atleast get the win tomorrow, we can go back home happy knowing we got 2 out of 3. It's only April anyway. Plenty of time to knock the Yanks back more.
  4. Will the Paps be closing tonight>
  5. That's all I gotta say.
  6. I love it how A-Rod just assumes he gets a walk, then the Ump gives him the fist and it's pouty time for Alex.
  7. I remember watching Biggio along side the Sox, since all we get down here are either the Astros, Rangers, or Braves.... pffft. But If I had to choose one current player, not a Red Sox player, to follow, like, and truely admire, it's Biggio hands down. His debut was just a few months before I was born, kinda shows how long it's been since he came in, and even after injury, he hasn't given up. Aside from that, do any of you think he'd be good enough to manage one day?
  8. Is he looking DOWN as he's pitching????? :dunno: Down right stupid and amazing at the same time.
  9. Do you guys think Biggio will be in the Hall of Fame one day? He's 49 hits away from 3,000 and is still a pretty okay hitter with a .283 average, well over 300 stolen bases (410), only 16 home runs away from 300, going to be 20 years with the same team (Houston Astros), and trailing Carl Yastrzemski in doubles with 642. He's been in 7 All-Star games, 4 Time Gold Glove Winner, 5 Time Silver Slugger Award, Houston Astros Player of the Year, and others. I'd like to see him inducted into the Hall of Fame. He's got the rest of this season, which has really just begun, and the '08 season, which will most likely be his last, he'll be 42 by then. What do you guys think about him?
  10. 11-4 and I missed it... Goddamn we are on a roll this season. You know, whether or not we make the Series, but to beat the Yankees like this, you couldn't ask for anything better, except for the 2004 season, respectively.
  11. No no by one more month, I mean after June.
  12. Think he could come back as a mid-relief at first? Give him one or two innings to see how he holds?
  13. July for me. A lot can happen in one more month.
  14. Everyone chill and just keep the faith. You never know what can happen at today's game. I have a good feeling we'll take the win. I agree with Animal's predictions.
  15. If can Tavarez can just hold 6 innings we can get some good relieft and then Paps to close for us. But the thing is... how man runs will Tavarez give up before the 6th? And we need the offense to be there like they were against the Yankees. Maybe get Lowell back in some clutch action.
  16. Ah-f***ing-men.

  18. 3 game sweep!!! PAPEBLBON IS THE BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. I've fallen for Pedroia's glove work.
