  1. Atleast they stopped the damage before it got worse.
  2. WHAT THE HELL SCHILLING?! Walk on tie.
  3. Does anyone happen to know a station where I can listen to the game from down here in LA? I can't find a station, nor do I know of one and when I go to work in an hour I want to be able to listen to the rest of the game while I'm there. So can anyone tell me of a national station that is carrying this game?
  4. My God bases loaded with hopefully a soon to be 2 outs. Schilling isn't looking so hot.
  5. I'll be playing my radio and TV and following the games all day tomorrow. Ha ha.
  6. Hmmm must have mistaken then. Could have sworn he was on the DL list. Anywho then why's he giving up so many hits? I guess it is still the first game of the season, still shaking of the cob webs from Spring Training.
  7. Glavine is having a good game indeed. If I'm not mistaken wasn't Carpenter recently taken of the DL? If so that's most likely what's affecting his game.
  8. Full count and Lo Duca Singles for 2 RBI with Reyes on third!
  9. He looks like s***, and it looks like he knows it... Reyes walks.
  10. Lo Duca's score gave me the lead in my Fantasy Baseball game! I'm watching it now, feels so good to finally get back into it.
  11. Yeah as soon as I read that I had a feeling someone didn't put effort into the coloumn. Then I saw it was written by some young dude acting like he's knows sports who even said the Twins were gonna make division and possibly the LCS...
  12. I believe my local newspaper has the Sox going 93-71 and then losing to the Angels in the ALCS... Which is bogus.
  13. And like I said, I was scouted from a friend of my grandpa's. I guess I must have talent if they want me. I can throw in the high 80s, almost breaking 90 and I have a wicked 12 to 6 curve. My batting could be a lot better though, that's my biggest problem and mainly why I want to remain as a closer pitcher.
  14. Friend of my grandpa works with the Zephyrs and they came and scouted me and want me to come in and play next year as a closer if I can get my arm strength up some more. If not then it's a first base I go.
  15. I am, and I'll be 19 then. You're saying because I'm 19 that automatically means I'm a liar?
  16. Story? I have no story. I've already said I'm 18. I'm not denying or hiding anything. And what about Beckett and Schilling, In MY opinion, that's what I had suggested for a good pitcher. Am I not entitled to my opinion? Sure it's not the greatest combo in everyone else's view but to me I think it's pretty good.
  17. 4 or 5 years...
  18. I was just wondering what is the most distant memory you have of the Red Sox? Such as going to Fenway when you were little or watching the '86 World Series, or anything you can think back long ago to. My most distant Sox memory is way back in 1993 when I saw Mo Vaughn knock a homer over left/center on the tv with my dad and grandpa.
  19. I am. I'm getting some beers, some chips, my chair, and the remote. Ha ha ha.
  20. Hey that was a good game man. Don't forget Ortiz's grand slam and two more homers! MANNYHOF24 I never got an erection from a Manny homer. But I get them when Schilling plays good on the mound. Is that good enough?
  21. I still think Papelbon should be closer. I'd want Tavarez or Lester in the #5 spot. I just hope Lester is over his cancer well enough to hold up.
