    Dodger Stadium was full when Gagne was closing out games, and it still is when Saito is closing them out. AT&T Park (or SBC) was just as bad when Robb Nen was closing out games, and that was around the time they won the pennant. Dodger Stadium is the only stadium in which the parking lot can be seen from the broadcast booth. That's why we get such a bad rap.

    It's a temporary move, according to the LA Times. Mueller's playing contract is due to expire at the end of the year, and $4.5M is a bit too much for a hitting coach.

    Actually, I don't think they'd mind. They allow pretty much anything over there. I'm offended that you'd lump me in with the Fred chasers on DB. I haven't badmouthed the Sox here, and if you look at my posts, you'll see that I've come here to talk baseball.

    I didn't come here to talk s*** about Drew. I came here to talk baseball, and if you look at my posts, you'll see what I'm talking about. Drew just happened to suck in the first two months, but I'm not really optimistic that he'll pick it up given his past in LA, Atlanta, and St. Louis. We aren't crying over him in LA. It's the closed mentality of "he's a Dodger fan; therefore he's a DB idiot" that doesn't add up.

    That's a bit unfair, since we have three expansion clubs in our division (granted, one has won it all). I could just as easily say that the AL West is just as weak, since only the A's and Angels have won (only twice since 1974).
