  1. I think someone needs to raid Toronto's lockerroom for 'roids 'cause what they are doing just 'aint natural!
  2. And the W. Great outing from Buchholz.
  3. A LARGE part of her job is looking attractive, so she's at least decent. As for the actual "work" part goes, yeah, she doesn't belong.
  4. Beltre must be one of the Knights of NI.
  5. Thank you! BELTRE!!! THE KNEE SHOT!! NI!
  6. Andy MacPhail. Can't say I'm surprised the team is struggling when the organization is run by a guy known as McFAIL.
  7. I don't know who weezer is.
  8. Yeah, I have metrocast up here in NH and it SUCKS. Peak hours online are stupid slow and the tv feed isn't great. Now it's taking forever just to switch channels or bring up the guide. Thanks metrocast...
  9. Wow, my complete cable TV feed just went "temporarily off air, please check back later".
  10. And 3 pitches and they're out of the jam.
  11. hehe. I'm surprised the 3B coach didn't sent the runner.
  12. I have only one thing to say: Can we PLEASE get rid of our 3rd base coach?
  13. Quoted for the truth.
  14. It's too bad that Bond's was the one who got to break the record and Griffey got all the injuries. No justice man, none.
  15. He gave up 10 hits tonight and 3 runs. Yes, it's an improvement, but he still is allowing WAY to many baserunners. When he can put a couple good games together with a Whip 1.0 or under, I'll be more optimistic. I don't buy the "it's one bad inning" thing either. This has been his problem since day one, it's nothing new. Anyways, just as you said "a win's a win", giving up runs is giving up runs, it doesn't matter if it's in one inning or 5.
  16. This team is playing great ball right now with out our leadoff hitter, 2 of our starting OF, Lackey struggling, Pedroia slumping, and Beckett on the DL. If the team can get healthy and all start performing up to their abilities, they might be down right scary. On another note, Welker was at OTA running around, running hard, and doing drills. The guy is an absolute freak!
  17. No, but I believe in people getting the courage and will to overcome adversity. Oh, and random chance.
  18. I think they need to reverse it seeing as the Umpire that made they call is acknowledging that he made the WRONG call. How can they not? If I were Joyce I'd be pleading Bud to change the ruling. If it doesn't get changed, Joyce is going to be known as the "guy who ruined a perfect game" for the rest of his life. Ouch. As for instant replay, I think it's a joke that it isn't available. I honestly see no reason why they can't install 2 TV screens into the wall along the 1st/3rd base lines. An umpire unsure of a call just needs to turn and walk a couple feet and get it right. It's almost worse in the NBA where a ref can blow a call and then see it right up on the jumbo-tron 10 seconds later. Everyone in the arena knows it was the wrong call, yet the ref never changes the ruling. It's ridiculous.
  19. They need to do something about the umpiring. It's awful. How on Earth can somebody not give even a close play to the guy 1 out from a perfect game? They pretty much ALWAYS give the tie to the defense, despite the rule stating it should go to the base-runner. In my book, he just pitched the 3rd perfect game of the season, I could care less what the actual box score says.
  20. What would the complete over/under line be? 5BB, 5 ER, 5IP? I'd go over, over, under.
  21. V-mart is RED HOT! A LEAD!!!
