    Well I mean for the main SP they will avoid the FA market. I think they could make some depth signings from the FA market. I'd like to see them take a shot on Jurrjens.

    You expect all 3 to make it? If I said this you be telling me how crazy it would be to assume all 3 will make it and produce at the ML level. Realistically if one is above average, one is average, and one flames out, your still doing all right.

    I wouldn't say massive, but a top prospect like NYM got for Beltran or part of a deal for a SP

    I think it has to be a even or an overpay for them to move him now. They could easily hold on to him and look to move him later in the season for a SP as well.

    '10-'12(avg) Hunter: .285/.351/.448 20HR Victorino: .264/.334/.434 15HR It's not leaps and bounds different. And considering the market and the multiple teams in on Victorino the overpay on AAV is palatable.

    Atlanta maybe but with Upton now on board it would be a stretch. AZ will have a good OF even if they do trade Upton. I don't think they have much need for Ellsbury.

    TB is not trading anyone to the Sox. Lincecum made sense before SF re-signed Pagan. Now It's not a fit. I think Bourn or Hamilton is going to have to come off the board before things pick up on Ellsbury. btw when do winter meetings end? general question to anyone who knows

    13:$25.5M, 14:$25M club option ($5.5M buyout), that's what he's owed. Ellsbury for Santana(Mets send 11M, make it 20M for 13 and covers buyout for 14 if Sox chose to opt out) Lester Buchholz Santana Floyd(trade) Doubront Lackey, Morales. Webster, De la Rosa waiting in the wings(maybe a Jurrjens too)

    Is anyone else having problems with talksox loading slow or not loading at all? It's been bad for like 3-4 days.

    AZ will have a full OF even if they trade Upton. It doesn't make sense. They aren't going to have interest in Ells. Iggy is the Sox SS and will be unless a Drew is brought in on a couple year deal to keep the seat warm for Bogaerts.

    The still have plenty of money. Having Victorino also gives them the option of trading Ells. This might not be the final product. So far it's a good ingredient.

    That package probably doesn't even land Upton. And if it did I'm not interested in sending Barnes and Bogaerts to AZ which would be a must in that proposed deal

    Victorino is an overall better player then Ross. And the Red SOx were gonna have to pay Ross at least 3 x's what they did last season to do the same thing.

    Like I said, Philly is saying absolutely no to trading from their rotation. It's the core they are counting on.
