    I think it will be one of these two moves. If not I think they go with what they got. Possibly letting Bowden and Tazawa have a chance to start some games or get broken in out of the BP down the stretch.

    I could get on board with that. I wonder if Taking on Rios will save the Red Sox some prospects? If something happens I think it will be for 3 top prospects. I know the Jays want more for Halladay. But taking Rios deal has got to count for something. I see a Beckett/Lowell type package. With it being Built around Buchholz. Then 2 or 3 other players. But that's only if a deal goes down. If the Dodgers offer Billinglsey+, that would be a hard deal to ignore IMO.

    Same here. And for HeHateMe, did Arod take himself out? Whatever side your on there is this. In 2003 they weren't breaking any Baseball rules I believe. I believe they were breaking some federal law or something. But they weren't killing people of Dogs or whatever. They took something to get stronger(whatever it does) thats it. To me this is little more then getting busted with weed. I don't worry about the "on the field" results being skewed or whatever. And if your not worried about that, then all this steroid crap doesn't seem so big.

    Agree. I think they could get him enough AB's for the rest of the season doing some kind of rotation. I don't think Bay should be benched out right. But until he shows some life at the plate and gets his head straight, I don't see any reason he could sit 1 or 2 times a week. Also Rios wouldn't be a bad replacement for Bay next off season. If he reverts back to his old form. If not, I don't think he makes a ton or is signed to a real long deal. Nice stop gap for one of the OF prospects if anything. Edit:Take that back, this is what's left on his current deal, 10:$9.7M, 11:$12M, 12:$12M, 13:$12.5M, 14:$12.5M, 15:$13.5M club option ($1M buyout) Not crazy expensive, but a good chunk of change.

    I wouldn't mind that. He could replace Bay after the season if he gets his s*** together and plays like he is capable.

    I'm not mad at him. Will still cheer him on. If he makes some lame excuse and doesn't come out and admit to some sort of wrong doing I will be more disappointed with him,then the actual failed test.

    It's probably in the one thread that first reported Ortiz might have taken PED's when he was younger in the Dominican. The" Red beans and rice" comment:lol:

    There was visual and statistical evidence to warrant some suspicion about Ortiz. If you declared him to be 100% clean, your just very naive. All in all, it doesn't bother me really. Lots of people were using for various reasons. I again state, give me $50M and I would probably have done it too. And so would have many of you. So let's not cast too many stones in this glass house.
