    I've been wanting JJ to be brought in for awhile as most of you know. He's had a down year. But Fenway and Boston could be just what the Doctor ordered. Even if his bat doesn't come back all the way, he can field a pretty good SS. And roght now that would be big.

    Hardy just got optioned to AAA. He could be had very easy this off season. Putting him in AAA and letting Escobar take over might really bring down his value. I say get him. If he rebounds sign him long term. If he doesn't, then let him walk.

    Seems about right. He should just serve it and get it over with though.

    I'm leaning towards Hanley not being available. Hardy I think will be much more attainable. And won't cost nearly as much. That will allow them to use the prospects they would have had to trade for Hanley, and bring in a big time SP instead.

    I hate getting too far ahead. But I think this could be the start of a hot streak for the Sox. The ways things have clicked in or gone the last couple games makes me think this. With Beckett going tonight 3 in a row is reasonable. The offense has a heartbeat again. Yes Youk is probably going to see some suspension time. But Lowell looked good last night. He knows he will have those games to prove his bat warrants being in the line up. I'd like to see the offense put a big number up tonight. Especially with Verlander going tomorrow.

    Just because I didn't mention the human aspect doesn't mean I don't get or am ignoring it. I totally get that side of it. Sometimes enough is enough. And sometimes you have to do something. I totally agree with you there. I just didn't feel like elaborating on it at in my post is all.

    I think what Youk did was great. Means Lowell gets a couple extra starts, big deal. this lit a fire in this team. It is exactly what this team needed.
