I read the post. What did you expect Molina to say?
I steal a strike every AB? If he said that, it's akin to saying your teammate sucks.
Come on buddy...the proof is in the pudding.
I'm on the Posada bandwagon until he stops framing pitches, which he did well for the first couple of games, and then he forgot all about it.
If what you're saying is true [which it is] about Burnett and CC preferring Cervelli/Molina, and their performance is better without Posada behind the plate...then why'd you sign them for 250 million if you were planning to give them a s***** catcher?
Also, about the PA article...he's just wrong. He states that Posada was the starting catcher for 3 championships. Not true. Posada started the MINORITY of the games for all but 1 championship run.
I killed Torre for many things, but he got that one right. The only championship the Yankees won with Posada the main guy in the playoffs was 2000. Nothing since. Posada should be the primary DH and third string defensive catcher. The Yankees have enough offense to carry Cervelli or Molina's bat. Plus, with Matsui and Nady [or Swisher] on the bench, you can pinch hit for one of those at bats a game, with Gardner to run.
They do that, they win. They don't, they lose. It's really that simple.
