  1. What a f***ing lifeless offense. Thames has to go.
  2. Yet we are full of RH hitters who love to ground out.
  3. These aren’t the Yankees of yester year. These are the neutered version
  4. This is the story of the 2021 Yankees. Base runners, DPs, and horrible situational hitting
  5. Yanks don’t score more than 3 runs. You’ve likely won the game already
  6. Cole was notably off. Although good news on the Kluber front. He played catch today without issue. He was supposed to rest for 4 weeks. Makes me wonder if the specialists disagreed with the initial MRI interpretation
  7. And he bounces back. Big win there. Still can’t hit well. Still don’t hit to situations. Still suck on the bases. But a win is a win
  8. Chapman can’t find the zone. Oh no
  9. Kluber’s update delayed to tomorrow. Another exam being performed in the am. Growing rumor that he’s got a torn labrum.
  10. Nobody denied the yanks had weaknesses. They just had less weaknesses than the other teams on paper. And nobody could have predicted their rotation/pen would be so good and their offense so bad. That’s why they play the games
  11. Can't agree with this post enough. The Yanks used to destroy hard throwing righties. Now, we get shut down by them. And there are a ton of hard throwing righties on every team
  12. If we aren’t in playoff position, I definitely think so
  13. My bet is Cash gets an ultimatum and we see a big left handed bat added to the lineup before august. The question will be, will it be enough
  14. The sox have to go Rocker in that case. Their system is brewing offensive players but is devoid of pitching talent. Rocker is a top notch talent
  15. preaching to the choir
  16. This is not an enjoyable team to watch
  17. I don’t disagree, but I doubt it’s gonna happen.
  18. Time for Thames to go. Not sure it’s his fault, but accountability is needed. The players need to learn that their actions have consequence
  19. Taillon has seemed to sputter after 4 innings this year. He does not have the stuff he had prior to TJS. He was a high 90s guy. Now he’s a low to mid 90s guy and he’s nowhere near as effective
  20. Once Kluber and Voit went down, the air came out of the team. They’ve got no fight
  21. Even without Kluber, we have the pen depth and the rest of the rotation to stay afloat on the mound. Our issues are at the dish and Garcia isnt helping that
  22. Severino is starting a rehab assignment on Sunday. He will have to be activated within 30 days.
  23. Again, it’s essentially June 1. It’s too early to say that. Garcia might go down to AAA and light it aflame and come back productive
  24. That's the thing. You can't fire your players, but you can fire coaches. Thames' approach has worked in the past, but he isnt adjusting the team philosophy to the new way of playing. For that, he needs to go
  25. WTF Sanchez? How can Cashman sit there and say ANYTHING positive about the team offensively? They cannot run the bases. The cannot hit. They play bad defense in spurts. The Yanks have had more outs on the bases in the entirety of the MLB. That is a firable offense for a coach. Cash should send a message. Thames, the position coaches, base running coaches, gone. Boone can stay for the rest of the year. Pitching coach stays. But this is entirely ridiculous
