  1. Damon learned how to throw lefty after breaking his right arm, so that is understandable. Crawford was a 2 sport athlete, although was going to go to Nebraska as a QB. Not sure why his arm is so bad
  2. Burnett has sucked today and the offense is dead. I am hoping the sox pile on another 10 runs, cause they need a serious level of embarrassment IMO to break out of their funk vs the sox
  3. We got a LOT of talent in this draft. A LOT. Keith Law may not agree, but this draft will be a major boon if we can sign em. We obviously wont get all of them, but we need to get most of them.
  4. The BA rankings are non-sense, and the Yankees have shown that to be true by their farm system strength. They typically go with guys they have scouted religiously and have been rewarded for doing so
  5. ARod no longer has the bat speed to hit a good FB
  6. f***ing Jeter. 3-1 count, swings at ball 4 when we are down by f***ing 3 runs. Seriously, he is swinging better, but that decision was absolutely awful
  7. If Gardner could have that kind of AB all the time, then he should always be at the top of the order. His problem is that he alternates patient at bats with ABs where he flails at pitcher's pitches and others where he takes cockshots with 2 strikes.
  8. Noesi needs to get more time in our pen. He looks so good
  9. That baserunner might be Jed Lowrie, cause the code demands blood!
  10. Alright, now is the time to headhunt. Maybe Papi
  11. if he walks him, I believe it is Jenks' walk. A hit is on Albers
  12. 2 rockets found gloves this inning. I hope he tries to get through the 7th with Jonny, cause he is due to get bombed
  13. Lester is neutralizing the Yankees only real offensive strength. Thus far, no taterballs. If he keeps the ball in the yard, he'll win without a doubt
  14. Yeah, if he was offered a spot in the 6th round, he should ask for 6th round money. He's got an extra yr of school he can always go back to and see if he can up his stock.
  15. That breaks down as follows Position Players- 9 Pitchers- 21 College- 16 High School- 14 The Yankees are going for broke this draft in terms of signability. They have a TON of high end HSers who will be requesting overslot later in this draft. My guess is that tomorrow will be pretty safe, filling some spots in the farm

  17. so he has a big head.
  18. He's 6'2" 185lbs. How is that a midget?
  19. smart move by Girardi. With Lester scuffling, he has to give his team a chance to get back in it
  20. with or without weapons?
  21. Garcia's stuff has fallen so far, that if he isnt pinpoint, he's horrible. Tonight, he is way off, meaning he will be epically horrible. We might lose this game by double digits
  22. It's the way the game is played. I have always advocated headhunting as an effective method of retaliation, although nobody would back that wagon anymore.
