  1. Pen is cooked. Good to see offense came through late. We’re leaking oil as we head to the finish
  2. 5 run lead, then they remember they suck and allow 3. Nice job Kluber
  3. David Ortiz wearing a red bandana pattern tie. Not sure if it’s intentional, but that’s awesome. Kudos Papi
  4. All year it was apparent that the yanks were playing below their skill level. Then they go 21-5 and it essentially looks like talent started winning out. Now, losing 11 out of 13 down the stretch and not looking competitive on top of the injuries shows that this dog don’t hunt. And it’s a leadership issue. I can’t blame Cashman since he actually brought in viable reinforcements. I blame Thames and Boone. You get a lineup that’s this accomplished and this deep and they cannot hit shows a total lack of hitting fundamentals. It would surprise me little to see a gutting of the managerial team and this same roster going bonkers in 2022. Although I absolutely expect reinforcements in FA this summer assuming the CBA agreed to doesn’t lower the tax thresholds
  5. They suck. Seriously suck
  6. I have never been more sure that both the sox and yanks are gonna miss the POs than I am right now. Our issue this week with the Jays was not the pitching. Mind you, it wasnt great, but it wasn't horrendous when you've got Romano, Heaney and Kriske allowing tack on runs late. Our hitting approach sucks. It is K or HR and when you face a team that keeps the ball down and throws a lot of sinkers, you lose. Period. Yankees do well vs power pitchers who like the ball up or junkballers who cannot keep the ball down. Go up against a Berrios who pounds the lower half and they're done. Ryu, who kept everything down, cannot touch him. Matz and the other bum? No excuse.
  7. lol, both give up HRs at incredible rates, just one also doesnt get outs.
  8. Yanks and sox are like two stunt planes who collide in mid air and catch fire and spiral to the ground. We are in the on fire and rapidly approaching the ground phase
  9. I doubt it entirely
  10. Taillon now out. Cole out. Team is in tatters and they still can’t hit.
  11. Now they’re in a death spiral
  12. And we still can’t hit
  13. Gil has no breaking ball at all today and no fastball command. Shocked he didn’t allow a s*** ton of runs
  14. Without Cole, we might as well bubble wrap the players for 2022 and call it a day
  15. The Yanks cannot f***ing hit. It’s maddening
  16. I aim to please. David Cone speculated arm injury which prompted the post
  17. Left hamstring injury. Initially looked like an arm injury with dropped velo
  18. And there goes the season
  19. Let’s look at today. We play Gallo vs Ryu. Now, I understand how hard it is to bunt the guys chucking 100mph, but Ryu is a shitballer. Gallo is third in baseball in bunt hits. He K’d 4 times. We had one hit through 4 innings. You gotta do something to disrupt a good pitcher’s flow. Drop a bunt down, get on base, make him throw more pitches. Every batter seemed to be trying to yank the ball out of the park and chased a ton of pitches out of the zone. The 21 Yankee offense has to be one of the biggest disappointments all time between performance and pedigree. The team should be scoring 900 runs. They’ll be lucky if they hit 700.
  20. There’s just something missing. There’s a lack of hitting situational awareness
  21. Yanks scuffling again. They sucked today and wasted a good start from Taillon
  22. Not sure why you don’t use Green then burn him for 2 innings in a game you’re down. Boone sucks
  23. Up 7-4, you turn to Andrew Heaney. The guy loads the bases with no outs and Boone leaves him in. Shockingly, all runs score
  24. I hate Aaron Boone
  25. Britton down for the year now Loaisiga on the shelf with a cuff strain. They’re hopeful ten days of rest and a cortisone shot will be enough to get him throwing again. Best case is he’s back for final week, which is not a likely scenario
