Detroit isnt in "great shape" per se. They have to wait to throw Verlander until game 3, and there is no chance in hell the Yankees postpone CC to game 4. CC is throwing game 3 and 7. So will Verlander, and I think this series goes 7. I have a feeling we go to Kuroda in game 2 on 3 days rest, CC game 3 on 3 days rest and then everyone else after that on regular rest

I hate Joe Girardi. Seriously, the guy gets rewarded by winning a game last night by pinch hitting for the useless ARod. Then, in a spot where a f***ing flyball wins the game, he leaves him in against a guy he had no shot against. This one is on Girardi!

The bolded comment above is retarded. The Yankees had the best record in the AL. The O's fended off the Rays and Angels and outplayed the Rangers in the play-in game (which would have been played anyway since the O's and Rangers had the same record).

Machado made the mistake, he's 20, it's the risk you run when you play a 20 yr old. That being said, the K of Davis was huge. Jones looks like he's given up. We will see who can play small ball the best. We just put a runner on 2nd with 0 outs. Lets see if we get him home
