  1. JD would be an absolute beast in Yankee Stadium
  2. Both of his homeruns and even Andujar's are gone in TB as well, so it wasn't entirely the stadium. Yankee Stadium is certainly short in RF, but its really short in RCF. All of the HRs were dead to RF
  3. You have to pitch to your stadium. You have to go down and away with the soft stuff AND the hard stuff. You cannot go up and away here with anything. Price didn't get the ball down enough
  4. Price lives outside. As a lefty, this is a deadly proposition in the stadium. If the Yanks win the play in game, Price has to be slotted only in Fenway
  5. They're facing an ace level pitcher who has reclaimed his ace level production. Sometimes you gotta tip your hat. Saw glimpses of this the past month or so
  6. Sevy is looking like himself again. Biting slider, nasty heat and the change looking good. Hopefully this continues on into the playoffs. He is likely our playoff #3, but he has the most upside of anyone
  7. Judge with the seed, error by Nunez
  8. It should be the other way around. If I was Cora, I would sit all guys against my likely ALDS opponent. I'd start guys with no hope of playing in the post season. No reason to provide recent advanced SR's to the opponent. The Yanks need this more.
  9. You know this game matters not for you and very much so for us, right?
  10. Uh oh, Mr. Tingles is back!
  11. Crazy that the Yanks and Sox have fallen off so much offensively
  12. I wouldn't be surprised at all. I think the Yankees have a core they can build around for years. This was something they were trying to recreate and once Jeter left, the core was all on the links. They had to reset the cap to save form them being hammered on the lux tax. They've got the space now and the trajectory is up. They will definitely be big players this year.
  13. Cash is MOY and it isn’t close. His team gave up in May and he has a team now with the same record as the Guardians. Crazy
  14. The question is more if we are going to create one. If we go out and grab Harper and then deal off kids for Bumgarner, we could, especially if we extend any pitching acquisition. I agree, it’s premature, but adding long term costs does accelerate the timeline for maximum impact but also shortens the window
  15. You guys are funny. You’re magic number for the division is 2, and for the 1 seed is 4. There are 11 games to go. I know you guys like the idea of Cora sticking it to NY, but if Betts has even a thought of a twinge in his side, then you sit him. If Cora has a dream that a player gets hurt the night before, he sits them. It’s just the way it goes. Your regular season was a wild success. Now it must be full on playoff mode. I wouldn’t be surprised if Cora limits Price tonight and throws a bunch of s*** bags after him. No need to give the Yanks looks. Also, that final series in Boston is going to have no matter at all to the Sox. I wouldn’t be surprised if Neck Tat, Wright and Cuevas starts. It literally doesn’t matter
  16. We allowed it to be interesting. Either way, good win for NY masking their offensive inefficiencies
  17. Walker is a switch and we have about waiting
  18. Big ball from Walker. Huge
  19. Our offense has been in the shitter for a month. It certainly might
  20. Another awful starter who is looking like an ace against our lineup
  21. what about the Thornburg deal?
  22. It’s all dependent on their skill set and their age at which they were drafted. Some guys are projects, others aren’t. Heck, Judge was drafted in 2013 out of college and didn’t make it to the show until he got a cup of coffee in 16. He was 24 between AA and AAA that year and he broke out to nearly win MVP as a 25 yr old in 17.
