Well, in September, when you have the 40 man roster active, you dont need to make a roster move unless he is gonna be placed on the 60 man DL. Since that isnt likely, they dont have to be forthright with anything. Better to have the other team prepare for Manny than not.

I would agree if you wanted to put Moose in his spot now. He will be good, but I think he is a bit over his head right now. I would still not even hesitate to give him a rotation slot next season out of the gate, no question.

but if your defense is based upon speed and instead of smashmouth football or pocket passing, the offense comes at you with option QB s***, you are essentially playing to their strength. I'd think we could have Claussen throw the ball to the receivers and then smash it up the middle with Thomas or Aldridge.
