well, we can finally write this in stone. The sox pitch for the series ended tonight. The sox are a team that you can NEVER write off until the final out is done. They were a great team this yr. But thank god its over. I tip my cap to the sox and know that my team as configured right now still looks up to the sox in terms of how to put a good team together. But all that can change this offseason. Enjoy the night y'all, I gotta go to bed.
Hawk.
I'm not sure Pedroia can physically get any better. He maximized his physical abilities in 2 yrs. That fact that he can hit 17 homers and just laser the ball all over the field as a midget in yr 2 is amazing. Fact is, he's gonna be a f***ing pain in the ass for the next decade.
you wanna get rid of Ortiz after having one bad season that involved an injury to a key component to his timing. I love being a doomsday guy for the sox, but I wont even be dumb enough to predict that. Ortiz' end will come when the lower half gives way, and it isnt right now.
with price in the rotation, I dont think you can make that assumption. Also, consider that Upton and Longoria missed significant time with injury. Upton especially. We are seeing what he can do when his shoulder isnt hurting.
BTW, Bay went way far
