  1. Unless you're in the seat that the picture was taken in, then it sucks. I've never actually sat in one of those seats, mine is very close to that section but is only obstructed in a bit of LF.
  2. I honestly do not know how to answer this question. There are poles in front of your seat sometimes. It looks like this: http://stevestewart.mlblogs.com/View-thumb-300x225.jpg
  3. There's no leg room, everything is expensive and often there's a pole right in front of your seat. But I love it.
  4. Sheesh dude, relax. Everybody relax. Goddammit.
  5. My bad, I thought those were quotes from posters here that you were calling retarded. I need to stop posting at
  6. I'm glad the Sox didn't match that offer. That's too much. He'll be a very good player for the first two, maybe three years, but the Mets will regret it in the latter years when he's still playing the field.
  7. Great, please stop.
  8. It all depends on which Javier Vazquez the Yankees get. I would lean towards the 2008 model, though not quite as bad. For reference, here are his past two years: 2008 (White Sox): 4.67 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, 3.28 K/BB, 8.6 K/9 2009 (Braves): 2.87 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, 5.41 K/BB, 9.8 K/9 He's going to be a good #3 and will be worth what the Yankees gave up. I don't think Melky is anything more than a fringe starter. Arodys Vizcaino may end up being the best player in this deal--he has great stuff.

  10. Actually I think it's more. Cot's indicated he's a FA after 2013.
  11. Disagree on Howard. You could make an argument for either Teixeira or Gonzalez. Pujols is a given. Fielder, probably. Tom is not better than Gonzalez.
  12. I like it for the Yankees. Gives them a good top of the order hitter to replace Damon, as I prefer Granderson in the 6 or 7 hole rather than 2.
  13. I think this is more of a prediction than a report.
  14. I could live with Ellsbury being traded, but if that's the case I'd really like to keep Buchholz. I would much rather have Buchholz than Kelly at this point. Who is your friend, by the way?
  15. His Oakland career was a short one. He will be sent to Toronto for Michael Taylor once the Halladay deal is finalized.
  16. Awful contracts like Sexson, Beltre, Silva and such tend to add up.
  17. If Beckett wants 20M, he can get it somewhere else. He is closer in talent and numbers to Lackey and Burnett than to CC and Halladay. I think it's been brought up, but it's possible that Theo foresees Beckett's price being too high and got Lackey as a replacement. In this case I doubt Buchholz would get dealt. But who knows; if the Sox can extend Beckett for something like the 5/87 that Dipre said, I'm cool with that. Speaking of this topic, Joe Sheehan brought up an interesting idea today: trade Beckett in a 3 way deal for Gonzalez.
  18. 6/120 would be absolutely absurd for Beckett, who has been worse than Lackey over the last four years.
  19. It's certainly the worst division in the AL.
  20. Can't you see? The division will have a first place team, and a second place team. Clearly it is the best division.
  21. Plus Podsednik is a FA. Still, Juan Pierre sucks.
  22. Yeah I'm actually fine with Green on the bench this year. We'll also have Lowrie available.
  23. That defensive advantage is basically cut in half when you replace Beltre with Lowell.
